The transportation sector is an important source of greenhouse gas production. It is responsible for nearly 42% of our greenhouse gas emissions. The electrification of vehicles is certainly an option to consider, but prior to the massive deployment of this solution, what can we do? Solutions are available and used worldwide: biofuels and electricity. Through their presentation, our panellists will present different examples where pragmatism goes along with the creation of local jobs and the reduction of carbon emissions.
