Mr. Santiago López is an engineer leader at UL DEWI. He has more than 20 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, and that experience extends to both wind and solar. Mr. López began his career while working for both OEMs and developers where he started as a project manager and had worked on more than 5GW. He has extensive experience managing multidisciplinary teams, and he has led the development of new areas/services within UL for the last 3 years, especially in the area of wind turbines structural integrity. Mr. Lopez holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Structural Engineering from the University of Oviedo, a Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wales, a Master of Science in Product Innovation and Development from the University of Brighton, and an Executive MBA from ESIC Business and Marketing School. He is fluent in Spanish and English.
